Brian Carter got his first taste of real estate management as a student when he was hired to work in college housing programs. While studying for his Bachelors degree in business administration at Truman State University, Missouri and then an MBA in Finance at the University of Wisconsin, Brian managed residence halls and directed programming for several hundred students on each campus.After acquiring financial, managerial and technical experience working for major companies such as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Meridian Capital Markets and M I Banking Corporation, Brian turned his talents to real estate as a professional.In 2002, he became a broker in South Florida and set the bar at providing only the highest level of real estate services. At the Altos de Miami project, he and his team overcame the rigors of a challenging market to lease 56 units and sell more than half the remaining inventory at competitive retail prices.As the managing broker for Douglas Elliman Florida, real estate agency, Brian honed his skills to become a multi-million dollar producer. He has now brought his expertise to Douglas Elliman where he serves clients in residential and commercial real estate.
