I left the North Carolina coast for the beautiful mountains of Western NC in August 2007. The ever-changing weather, endless hiking trails and streams, and four beautiful seasons were just what my soul needed. I�EUR(TM)ve called Boone home for almost a decade now, and know the area very well. My background includes a B.S. in Appropriate Technology and a minor in Town, City, and Planning as well as an M.A. in Geography, all from Appalachian State University. My knowledge of construction methods, renewable energy systems, planning concepts, and land and water features are all invaluable resources for you when purchasing real estate.
