Secluded hunting in Holmes County, MS! This 65.3+/- acre recreational tract is located along Springhill Road (a dead-end road where the bridge has been out for approximately 5+/- years). With only two landowners traveling past the property, you will enjoy true seclusion. The makeup includes everything from bedding areas up front, big timber in the back, a beaver pond, and Cypress Creek frontage. Over the years, the owner has mainly bow hunted deer; however, he frequently sees turkeys (lets a friend chase them) and has seen ducks coming in the beaver pond areas to roost. It's usually hard to find this diversity on a 65.3+/- acre property. He treats the mature timbered area along the creek as a sanctuary for the whitetail with almost no hunting pressure. As stated, you will find a thick area up front with three wildlife plots strategically placed for different winds. The owner has planted approximately 100 sawtooth oak trees on the property. There are no utilities along Springhill Road so you shouldn't have any neighbors for years to come! The location is within an hour of the Jackson metro area, so travel should be a breeze for those quick morning or afternoon hunts. If you have been looking for that perfect affordable sized farm to call yours, let's take a ride to the Holmes 65.3.
