About Meredith Verona
Meredith Verona not only intimately knows the city, but also its complex real estate market. As a partner in a three-generation family business that owns, develops, and manages residential and commercial properties in New York, she has gained invaluable experience in various facets of the industry which she passes on to her clients. Meredith also has personal experience with co-op buildings as she has owned one for 20 years and was involved in her familys conversion of rental buildings to cooperatives. She is presently renovating an Upper East Side pre-war townhouse, which she intends to be her new home. Through this extensive renovation process, Meredith has developed a particular expertise and fondness for townhouse life. She has a true passion for interior design and architecture reflected in a unique spatial awareness that allows her to see potential in various co-op, condo and townhouse properties. Born and raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where she still resides with her family, Meredith attended The Dalton School, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and received her Masters from Columbia University Teachers College. She taught high school English in both private and public schools in Manhattan. She is a tried and true New Yorker whose four children attend school on the Upper West Side. Outside of work and family, Meredith is an avid contemporary art collector who spends a great deal of time in Chelsea galleries and traveling to art fairs and museum exhibits. Her art affiliations include The Israel Museum, The Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania, and The Guggenheim Museum. Meredith's passion for education and working with children has kept her active in child advocacy, Charter Schools around the country, and NYU's Hasenfeld Children's Hospital. She loves adventure travel, going to the theater, discovering new culinary delights, and sports like paddle boarding, and tennis.
