About Lois Maffei

Born in Brooklyn, raised on Long Island, Lois has lived on Manhattan's east side for over thirty years. She has had a residence in Juno Beach, Florida and owned a home in Bridgehampton for over twenty years. Lois brings empathy to the real estate process. "I've been a Buyer, Seller, Investor, Tenant and Landlord!" Having raised a daughter in Manhattan, Lois is familiar with the New York City schools. She has had first hand experience with New York City's higher education, holding a BA from Marymount Manhattan and an MBA from Pace University. Before joining Douglas Elliman, Lois worked on a team at another firm where she received "invaluable on the job training skills". Previous to that, she held various positions at law firms, sold advertising, worked in relationship management at a hedge fund and was a personal shopper in high end luxury goods.
