Judith Kress Auchincloss is an expert at the arts of marketing, merchandising, negotiation and budget analysis thanks to almost three decades of proven experience as creator/CEO of the highly successful and original modern design houseware stores, AD*HOC, with stores in SOHO and on the Upper East Side.
Judy, who grew the business from an original investment of $65,000 to sales in excess of $4.5 million, understands exactly what it takes to become successful no matter what the endeavor, and capably translates these skills to her real estate clientele.
What lends to Judy's effectiveness is also her keen creative eye plus great compassion and sensitivity to people's needs. Through the most attentive personal service and a fine ability to hone in on the special qualities of each particular property, Judy carefully matches buyers to the home that's best suited for their lifestyle.
Currently co-owner and landlord of a building on Wooster Street, Judy has long had ties in the art and film world as a result of her prior work as an art gallery assistant and documentary film producer. She attended Vassar College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Judy also sits on the board of directors of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, the advisory board of Creative Classrooms Visual Arts Program, and has previously served on the advisory boards of The Gotham Chamber Opera and the Venice Music Festival.
