Jane is a "born and bred" New Yorker, having graduated from The Bronx High School of Science and Barnard College. She has been a Manhattan resident for many years, and a licensed real estate Broker for over 30 years. Jane is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
The skills Jane attained during her 17 year career in banking and corporate finance at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company (a predecessor of JPMorganChase Bank) are used in qualifying customers, negotiating, and preparing Board packages. Buyers appreciate her patience and ability to really "listen" to their wants and needs. Sellers value her attention to detail and professional approach. Jane takes pride in her ability to work across various geographic markets and in different size and price categories. She has sold co-ops and condos, on both the Upper East and Upper West Sides, Midtown East (Murray Hill, Gramercy, Turtle Bay, Beekman/Sutton) , Downtown, and Brooklyn.
After heading the tenants' negotiating team during the conversion, she was on the Board of her co-op for many years, also serving as Treasurer. She has been responsible for selling a professional apartment to generate funds for the co-op and re-financing the underlying building mortgage twice.
Jane was a volunteer consultant during the financing and construction of The Joyce Theater, a 475-seat theater for dance performance located in Chelsea. She has been a member of their Board of Trustees since the Joyce began.
