Alex began his real estate career working with top agents at a high volume rental brokerage, quickly becoming a top-producing agent himself. As a downtown neighborhood specialist Alex's expertise spans building by building, block by block and he continues to delight in expanding his knowledge of management companies, developers, landlords and building groups. Alex's expertise makes him a reliable source for not only a prospective renter or buyer but also as a valuable consultant to landlords and developers who are seeking to increase their rent rolls, continuing to break neighborhood records in both landlord owned rental buildings as well as condo investor units. Alex joined the TuinstraDavis Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in 2015. In 2019 the team joined forces with the EklundGomes Team, expanding Alexs reach to not only New York, but also the California and Florida markets. He is a both a Certified Buyers Representative as well as a Certified Negotiation Expert. Prior to working in real estate Alex did editorial and theatrical writing, having had several plays produced downtown, including notable immersive locations such as The Hotel on Rivington and The Gallery at 25CPW. Alex holds a BFA from Marymount Manhattan College. He lives in historic West Village, where he volunteers at the Jefferson Market Garden.
