Chris Dominiak joins Compass with over 12 years of experience in Residential Real Estate after a successful career working at Brown Harris Stevens, alongside a top producing Senior Vice President, Managing Director for seven years who generated annual sales surpassing $100 million. Chriss innate ability to understand the operational and transactional processes of New York City real estate compels him to remain cognizant of the current trends and prominent residential buildings throughout the market. In 2009, Chris was named the top sales agent of the week by The Real Deal Magazine, after his involvement in the sale of a $25 million-dollar apartment at 15 Central Park West. With his familys involvement in real estate management for cooperative apartments in Manhattan, Chris learned about the real estate industry at an early age. In addition, he is well-versed in computer technology, with a focus on financial analytics, market data, and listing metrics, skills that allows Chris to seamlessly acquire and analyze housing market information for transactional and research purposes. Chris is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and also holds a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation, as well as a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) designation, both titles which only 1% of real estate agents throughout the nation have. Chris also holds a certificate of completion in Property Management by The New York Real Estate Institute (NYREI), which adds great value in managing investment properties for clients, especially ones out of the country. An admirer of the New York City architectural landscape, Chris studied the work of J.E.R. Carpenter and Rosario Candela, his two favorite architects in detail. He graduated from the University of New Haven with distinction. As a collegiate athlete, he was also awarded several honors during his undergraduate studies. He was born and raised on the Upper East Side where he currently resides. Chris is also bi-lingual and speaks Polish fluently.
