For more than 20 years, Brenda has lived, worked, and purchased property in New York as both an owner and an investor. She served on the Board of a Midtown building for 10 years. Having first-hand knowledge of many neighborhoods, she has lived on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and Midtown East and worked in the Tribeca and Wall Street area of Manhattan during the many years she sold information technology services to financial firms. She knows the joys and pitfalls of searching for the right property, the satisfaction of finding it, the fortitude needed during renovation, and the exhilaration of the finished product. Above all, Brenda has a good eye for value-added improvements. Earning her B.A. from Michigan State University and an M.A. from Columbia University, Brenda has traveled extensively and has lived in Germany, Japan, the Philippines, and Bermuda. Brendas interests include theater, museums, art, and tennis. She also volunteers with New York Cares on a variety of projects.
