She does, however, maintain a soft spot for the Upper East Side, recognizing that it is not merely a single neighborhood, but a cluster of many mini-neighborhoods, each with their own distinct flavor and appeal. Bettina brings more than 20 years experience and success in real estate to Halstead. She was a regular member of her previous firms Multi-Million Dollar Club, ranked among the Top 2% of 60,000+ agents nationwide and was elected by her colleagues to serve on the companys Advisory Committee. Prior to becoming involved in real estate, Bettina directed the Certificate Program at the New York School of Interior Design and was at Edward Durrell Stone Associates, the architectural firm. Bettina and her late husband and partner George brought up their son in New York and she can help steer families to the many childrens delights in the city. A committed animal lover, she and George accompanied their previous rescue dog Malcolm on his trips to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was a weekly visitor to the childrens psychiatric ward and was named the hospitals Volunteer of the Year. She now has her hands full with Clarence, a Border Collie mix rescue. Her son and his family live in London and she visits as often as she can.
