He has closed millions in sales and still counting! Born and raised in New York City. A native New Yorker, he has broad insight on the city's diverse neighborhoods. In his past he often assisted his family with developing their independently owned businesses, which was his first exposure to real estate transactions. As an adult, he relocated to Washington D.C. to continue his education. It was in the nation's capital that he gained professional experience while interning at a prominent real estate firm while studying Communications, Economics & Law at American University. Alan combines his personal understanding of the market and resources at Douglas Elliman to educate and guide his buyers and sellers.Alan excels at utilizing multiple databases to determine what the market's current inventory has to offer and works to align clients with their ideal investment. His commitment and dedication to constantly being aware of market changes and industry standards are what makes Alan the choice broker for clients who want an agent who understands their needs. Alan loves cities and travelling, but NYC is still his favorite place in the world. Among his experiences was spending a summer in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, a year in Chicago, three years in Washington, D.C., and summers in Los Angeles since age 11. When he isn't traveling, you can find Alan enjoying the company of friends at one of the many great restaurants the city has to offer. He is most proud of being involved in the PBS documentary, "Half the Sky," based on a national best sellers book by, Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.
