720 Park Avenue is a historic 29-unit residential building in Lenox Hill and one of Manhattan's most venerable addresses. Designed by Cross & Cross and Rosario Candela in the Neoclassical architectural style, the elite Upper East Side co-op  is perfectly positioned on the northeast corner of 70th Street.

The 17-story tall structure, which stretches an entire full block on Park Avenue, was completed in 1928. It features a neo-Georgian red-brick façade trimmed in limestone and Candela floor plans. Upper-floor apartments open up to intimate, warm, snug terraces, high ceilings, fireplaces, winding staircases, large marble baths and spacious dining rooms. The building also has a gymnasium, storage spaces, and a doorman.

One of its first residents was Jesse Isidor Straus, the co-owner of Macy's, who also served as United States Ambassador in France in the 1930s. His home was a single massive duplex with a 40-foot entrance gallery and library as well as separate wine and vegetable closet, a valeting room, a sewing room, and a large kitchen.

Once Straus's wife, Irma, passed away in 1970, the co-op was divided into two apartments.

Other notable residents of New York City's iconic building include billionaire Robert Ziff and businessman Peter S. Kraus, alongside sports team owners, hedge funders, ambassadors, and political influencers.

Nearby trains include the 6, F and Q subway lines. Hunter College, the New York School of Interior Design and Marymount Manhattan College are all close by.
