56 Leonard Street

A residential building that’s also a work of art, 56 Leonard Street is a glass tower with a unique shape that adds a special touch to the New York City skyline. This architectural marvel has a ton of amenities, and homes here are just as unique as the building itself. Units in 56 Leonard are large and bright thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. Homes usually range from one to four bedrooms, though some penthouses have five or six. There is one full bath for every bedroom and a majority of units include a powder room. Master baths come with a freestanding soaking tub, a walk-in shower, double vanities, and custom fixtures.

Living spaces are massive and open, usually kept separate from the kitchen via an island. White oak flooring can be found throughout the home. Kitchens come fully equipped with Miele appliances like refrigerators, dishwashers, gas stoves, and ovens. Miele has also provided the in-unit washers and dryers in every home. 56 Leonard is a collaboration between the architecture firm, Herzog & De Meuron, and legendary artist, Anish Kapoor. Kapoor provided the building with a sculpture at its base, adding to the already lavish and pristine reputation of this structure. This building has won the 2017 Engineering Excellence National Recognition Award and has been featured on the hit FX series Atlanta.
