Whale's Road House is actually two nearly identical ocean front homes built in the traditional Japanese style.  The homes emphasize nature, wood, and an open floor plan.  They are really ocean front, a friendly accessible frontage with privacy, spacious meadow, lawns, woods and a secure rocky coast set on approximately three acres.  The north boundary is a creek with a blow hole, the east is woods and the south is a cove.  The homes were built in 1979 by Ed Powers and have been updated and meticulously maintained by the two owners since.  Appliances by Gaggenau, Subzero, Bosch, Miele and Siematic Cabinets in the main home.  Each home has two cast concrete fire places, one in the living level and one in the bedroom loft.
