The Morad Beekman

Right next to the East River on 51st Street, The Morad Beekman is a beautiful 13 story co-op with over 100 units. Though built in 1962, this building was renovated in 2020, and now every unit and amenity is pristine and classy. The location is convenient as well, providing residents with everything they could want in a building.

This is a full service building with a full time doorman and concierge. There’s also a live-in super for all your maintenance needs. There’s also a gorgeous roof-top deck with a garden that has seating and amazing views. Additional amenities include a fitness center, a bike room, a storage room, laundry facilities, and a parking garage for an additional fee. Your furry friends are allowed to live here with you and pied-a-terre and subletting are also allowed.

Units in The Morad Beekman are rather large and range from one to three bedroom apartments, though most units are just one to two bedrooms. Either way, there are an equal number of bathrooms and bedrooms. Some units even come with a powder room. Master baths are large, and come with a deep soaking tub and shower head for some versatility.

Living spaces and bedrooms are lined with hardwood floors, and kept comfy with central heating and air. Most units come with a dining alcove/ den as an additional room. Living rooms open up to spacious kitchens that feature refrigerators, gas stoves, ovens, and dishwashers. Some select units have washers and dryers.

The Morad Beekman is on 51st Street in Midtown East. Though it’s a bit far from the action, it’s still a short trip from Central Park, MoMA, and other Manhattan staples. In the area though, you’ll find quiet spots to sit and relax. Ophelia Lounge and LaVilletta are some favorites in the area.
