The Amherst

A massive complex in Lenox Hill, The Amherst is 20 stories of luxury. Built in 1962, The Amherst has gone through many renovations to meet the high standard it’s set for itself. Many of the units have been combined for larger homes, and the amenities receive regular upgrades as well.

One of the facilities that gets upgraded regularly is the gym, which features state of the art equipment. Other amenities include a community lounge, a children’s playroom, a garden in the courtyard and on the roof, and a large laundry room. Hallways and the lobbies have also been recently renovated. Parking is available for an extra fee and pets, pied-a-terre, and subletting are allowed.

It’s minutes away from Central Park, as well as amazing restaurants like Tanoshi Sushi Sake Bar, 2nd Ave Deli, and The Sefton. Travel to this complex is also easy given that it’s next to the Q and the 6 trains.
