Designed by Morris Lapidus and built in 1964 by Trump International Realty, this building is part of a seven building complex. Each structure has 23 floors and the entire community has 572 luxurious units.

Located in Coney Island near the beach, the complex also tries to exemplify fun, having an indoor child’s play room and a recreation room, that’s a bit more grown up, in the building. Other amenities include a laundry room, office space, and parking, though the F and Q train are close by for those who prefer public transit.

Pets are allowed in the building, as are alterations as long as they have been approved by the board. There is also round the clock security and a doorman at all entrances, so your safety is top priority.

Units in Trump Village range from studio to three bedroom apartments. Different units provide different bathroom layouts. Studio and one bedrooms have one bathroom, two bedrooms have one to two and half bathrooms, and three bedroom units have one to three and half bathrooms.

Many units in the building offer an outdoor patio space. Some of these spaces even face toward the water. Additionally, every unit comes with a refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, All of which have been updated to modern, luxury standards.

Though Trump International Realty constructed this complex, this Trump property is the only one in New York City that is named after Fred Trump and not Donald Trump. Fred Trump focused largely on middle class families while Donald Trump focused more on luxury high rises. That said, this building has undergone extensive renovations. Those renovations, as well as its proximity to the beach, have elevated this complex to luxury standards.
