Designed by Eran Chen, the building blends both historic and contemporary elements. For example, 15 Union Square West was originally built with 16-foot cast-iron arches that rose above Union Square Park back when it was commissioned by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1869. Tiffany & Co. stayed there until 1906. Today, beneath the building's current facade, the original cast-iron arches remain.

Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki purchased a two-bedroom apartment in the building for $9 million in 2011.
