NOT your usual RANCH HOUSE!! Designed by architect Chester Cadman, a disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright, in the style of the Wrightian Usonian House.This house with flowing spaces, ribbon window walls, interior and exterior wood and stone materials are meant to bring the exterior and interior in sync. Built in 1959 the long rectangular structure emphasizes the horizontal with a low, modestly gabled roof. Hardwood floors were recently added in the living and dining rooms. There are hardwood floors throughout as well as herringbone laid dark wood floor in the hallway and kitchen. Of course Wright's favorite place would be the living room near the stone fireplace, which he called The Sacred Hearth.
