This stunning art-deco structure was built in 1928 as housing for Alphabet City’s growing immigrant population. As time marched on, the building became a luxury condo for those seeking to be in the center of artist and activist movements. Christodora House currently holds 87 units with 16 floors.

Designed by architect Henry C. Pelton, this historic building features a full-time doorman, laundry facilities on every single floor, a bike room, elevators, and a live-in super. There is no specific place to park, but there’s a decent amount of street parking and the building is close to the L train. This condo allows pets as well as subletting.
