Residents can also enjoy a private garden with a serene water feature, a state-of-the-art gym, and a laundry facility. Pets are more than welcome to live here with you.

Units in The Plaza are unique and, frankly, fascinating. They range from one to four bedroom apartments, but some units can have as many as six bedrooms. There is usually an equal number of bedrooms and full bathrooms, and most units come with a powder room. Full bathrooms here can come with deep soaking tubs and walk-in showers, double vanities, and even two toilets.

Living and sleeping spaces are enormous and open. Hardwood flooring lines all of these spaces, and usually the extra rooms that are used as libraries, playrooms, or offices. Kitchens come fully equipped with stainless steel refrigerators, gas stoves, dishwashers, and sometimes two ovens. Many units come with a washer and dryer as well as balconies that overlook the private garden.

The Plaza has been famous since its inception in 1907. F. Scott Fizgerald and Frank Lloyd Wright would frequent the hotel, as did many other famous people. Moby and Tommy Hilfiger even lived there for a while. The building was even the subject of an early Neil Simon play called, Plaza Suite, about a room in the Plaza and the different couples who stay there. The Hotel technically has two addresses. The One Central Park South address is for permanent residents whereas guests of the hotel use the entrance at 768 5th Avenue.
